Wow it's been 4 months since my last journal entry, but I haven't really had much to say. Been working on art as you've probably seen, i.e. some renders and the crossover drawing of Sil and Mystique.
Besides that, I haven't done that much really art wise. Been playing games and watching movies, and discovering new characters and enjoying a bunch of awesome art here on dA.
But it looks like I'll be able to get some more art projects done in January since I'll have some more free time then. Mostly Daz related stuff and things, but I do have some fan art drawings of xenowomen I want to do as well.
Anyway, I decided to finally do something I've thought about for the past two years, and that was buying the action figures of the Wire Twin Cenobites from Hellraiser. And they arrived today!
Check out the photos in my Facebook album here (please look at each individual photo to see any comments I may have written about it); www.facebook.com/calvin.lagfaz…

I am very pleased with them, but I will need to make some kind of stand for them, since they fall over easily
But a little wooden board with a few nails should do it, since they have sockets in their feet were the real stand would have gone.
I also have more xenowomen figures and statues on the way and can't wait until they arrive! I want to decorate my desk with all my favorites!
A couple of old favorites, like Wraith Queen Mina and Sil, and a new favorite, Sarah Kerrigan from the Starcraft games, will join the Twins on my desk, hopefully sometime next week.
Besides them, I just lack a Dark Nurse from the Silent Hill movies, but unfortunately there aren't any figures of them. There is however a Bubblehead Nurse statue from the games, and while they are basically the same kind of monsters, the Dark Nurses have distorted faces, which I think look really cool and give them some individuality and more texture, whereas the Bubblehead Nurses only have faceless faces.
