Mass Effect Farscape lookalike

Description

Some characters from Mass Effect must have been inspired from Farscape. I know Mass Effect is inspired by a ton of different movies, books and games, but some of the characters look a lot like some Farscape characters, and others have the same feel.

Absolutely, there are many Farscape inspired things in Mass Effect, Ka'Dargo is almost an archetypal Krogan with the warrior culture, traditions and hyperrage. Asari are quite similar to Zhaan, blue, praising the goddess, mind melding while eyes shift into another color, sexually liberated, both have a somewhat scaly skin. Peacekeepers remind me of Turians with their military culture, strict code and dedication to the collective. Leviathans are living bio-mechanoid ships with a Pilot who looks like Collector General. Keepers reminded me of DRDs because they have the same function. There are other details, but this is more than sufficient. Also there is a blatant nod to Farscape where Batarians discovered a living ship named Leviathan.

As a side note I find Scarrans to be one of the best sci-fi races I seen, unlike many villains in Star Trek for example, they actually feel like a genuine threat, methodical, powerful and extremely cruel. Good thing they ended the series with Peacekeeper Wars in a mostly satisfactory fashion as it would be such a shame if there was no real closure to Farscape.

Still a far better ending than Battlestar Galactica who had great plotlines throughout the series, excellent characters and dialogues yet ended up abruptly in the last season in an anti-climactic fashion where everything good in the show fell apart, really dreadful script, I immensely enjoyed watching Battlestar Galactica, but the ending was unworthy of the show itself, I felt the same disappointment as with Mass Effect 3 endings, all that build up and good development only to destroy it all in the endings.

Which is why I was happy after Peacekeeper Wars, a really solid conclusion to Farscape, not perfect, but not bad either and it didn't go against the lore and there was no deus ex machina like in Mass Effect endings.
